Support Refugee Children’s Education

Visit The University College London (UCL)

Education is an essential tool for empowering young refugees and supporting their integration into their new communities. At a time when the world is facing an unprecedented displacement crisis, with over 82 million people forcibly displaced from their homes, it is crucial that we invest in education as a means of promoting social inclusion and providing opportunities for these vulnerable children.

To this end, we have launched a project to support refugee children’s education for integration. As part of this effort, we recently visited the University College London (UCL) to gain insights into best practices and successful initiatives that can inform our project. We were impressed by UCL’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity, and the many programs and services they provide to support refugees and displaced students.

During our visit, we learned about the various academic programs and extracurricular activities that UCL offers to its diverse student body, including those who have been displaced. We were particularly inspired by the university’s efforts to provide tailored support to refugees and to ensure that they have access to the same opportunities as their peers.

Our visit to UCL has been invaluable in shaping our project to support refugee children’s education for integration. We are committed to using the knowledge and best practices that we gained during our visit to create effective and impactful interventions for the benefit of these vulnerable children. We are grateful to UCL for hosting us and for their support in our efforts to promote education as a means of fostering social inclusion and promoting opportunities for all.
